In these brief notes, I would like to convey to you, from me and my family; and indeed from many Somalilanders in Norway who know you and your achievements very well, our heartfelt congratulations on the honorable Award: Chevalier de la Legion  d’Honn eur, which the President of the Republic of France, Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy, bestowed on you.

This was in recognition of your life-time endeavor to better the standard of  livel ihood of your people. You are truly a servant of your people and your achievements, in all the fields you served us; and continue to serve, make a lasting difference. We pray for your long healthy life and remain to be very proud of you.
