The man least understood and mostly (wrongly) mischaracterized
That guy is called Mr. Hersi. He is the Minister of state for Somaliland Presidency
there was a lot of mischaracterizations and misconceptions against the Minister
Ironically this Minister is the most productive among the pack. He is a- one- man machine working more and more hours than any of the other Ministers.
Some Ministers close them selves in the closet or cupboards in there offices!
They are disconnected, and they don’t have any emotional, historical and psychological connections with the citizens! Mr. Hersi is leading the pack, honestly speaking.
This note has been compiled by me as a result of my observation and interactions with the Minister during the time (three months) I stayed in Hargeisa
Somali saying goes that: Truth can not reach a run away lies?! I think a Run away lies can be bring to halt by truth! In Mr. Hersi’s case the lies or misconceptions are caught red-handed! They ought to be corrected
(Been fakatay Runi magaadho. Been fakatay runi way gaadhaa!)

According to Jerker Denrell, associate professor of organizational behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, “what's key in dispelling negative images is making sure you get a second—and third and fourth—chance. Having the opportunity to show different a side of you to others in numerous situations—socially and professionally—is, in fact, critical to one’s reputation as well as career advancement.”
Denrell's research shows that “when someone makes a negative impression on some one else, we're less likely to seek out that person again, making it difficult to gather additional information that could change our first impression. If, however, external factors force further interaction, there is opportunity to soften the first negative judgment, if not reverse it altogether”. That is why the author is putting up this note as to reveal the real person and personality of Hon. Hersi In other words one must dispel bias and clan related prejudice to evaluate a person. If and when such biases and prejudices interfere the person’s evolutions there is no objectivity and there is no, rationality in that evaluation!
The power of second chances is a fairly intuitive but overlooked phenomenon in social psychological research. "Most of the studies have stressed how our stereotypes and expectations about others influence the way we perceive them and what we remember about them," Jerker Denrell explains, but that's not the whole story. The research doesn't consider that when we have a negative reaction to someone we generally try to avoid the person in the future and so never gather additional information. "Even if it were possible to evaluate that individual in a completely objective fashion—without stereotypes or expectations—a bias would still remain because we end up working with only limited information," he notes.
In the case of Minister Hersi, the Minister of state for the presidency of Somaliland a run- away lies against him has been caught by the truth!
A lot of lies have been spread of him and against him; wrong impression has been taken by many people against the Minister unfairly so!

If First Impressions slump, getting a Second Chance is fairly necessary for one to prevail”
The truth is Mr. Hersi is a ‘one-man machine working like a hemming machine’. He is a guy who learned a lot. He is on the right side of issues, he is gutsy and courageous and he is in control of his work. I believe that he is in the zone of being “tough on the enemy and tender for the citizens of the home land.”

One must meet the man; one must know him before passing negative judgment against him or any other person for this matter. One must have enough information before forming a negative impression based on cliché, heresy and prejudices and the rest of them! Casually criticizing others with out reliable information is nuty!

On the serious side I wish if the rest of the other Ministers in Somaliland are like him in personality productivity and prudence! I wish good luck for the underestimated Minister

My impression……….
